Employment & Internship Opportunities

We’re looking to bring on clinicians who are genuinely invested in body-based approaches to therapy and who recognize the body’s role in individuals’ lived experiences.

Ideal candidates anchor their work in relational and psychodynamic principles, and have experience with, or are currently developing skills in somatic-oriented modalities such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, Brainspotting Therapy, Somatic Experiencing etc.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Art Therapy, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field

  • Holds NY State license, including LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, MHC-LP, or other limited permit

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy 

  • Experiences or trained in integrative and body-based approaches such as EMDR and sensorimotor therapy.

  • Availability for at least two evenings per week, or one evening and one weekend day

  • Excellent documentation, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to maintain a minimum caseload of at least 15 sessions per week

  • Comfort navigating technology (EHR, virtual platforms)

  • Ability to meet minimum workload expectations (at least 15 sessions/week), with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload over time if desired.

  • Willingness to engage in networking and marketing efforts with guidance from a supervisor

  • A strong sense of job autonomy and the ability to thrive with a high level of independence

  • Financial flexibility to support a gradual caseload build, beginning with private-pay clients prior to insurance credentialing if applicable (which may take approximately 1–6 months).

  • Optional hybrid work model (one day in-person availability required)

  • Ability to maintain a minimum caseload of at least 15 sessions per week

  • Weekly individual supervision, including specialized training from established somatic and trauma therapists
